How I Found Design
My journey into design didn’t start with a lifelong dream, it started with dissatisfaction.
In 2022, I hired a graphic designer to redesign my logo. After paying for the project, the result lacked originality and clarity, and I was asked to pay extra to get what I originally expected. That experience made me realize how often businesses pay for design without truly getting value.
Instead of settling, I decided to learn how to do it myself.
Learning The Craft
I began by watching tutorials, researching design principles, and learning the right tools. I enrolled in an Adobe Illustrator for Beginners course on Udemy and started creating random designs to practice what I was learning.
Towards the end of 2022, I joined a design challenge community. That experience significantly changed how I approached design—especially presentation, structure, and how to communicate ideas to clients. It helped me see design not just as visuals, but as problem-solving.
From Practice To Purpose
In 2023, I volunteered with Effort Works, designing weekly social media flyers. At the time, I was still designing for free—but that period gave me consistency, real briefs, and practical experience working with deadlines.
Mid-2023 was a turning point. I discovered that what I enjoyed most wasn’t just designing individual assets—it was building brands. I became curious about how brands work, why some visuals feel intentional while others don’t, and how design can support clarity and growth.
I started asking better questions, researching brand systems, and practicing intentionally.
What I Do Today
By 2024, I officially narrowed my focus to brand identity design.
Today, I work as a Strategic Brand Identity Designer, building scalable brand systems for startups, agencies, and growing organizations. I’ve worked on 20+ brand projects, creating logos, visual systems, and brand assets that help businesses communicate clearly and increase engagement.
My approach prioritizes:
-
Clarity over decoration
-
Systems over one-off designs
-
Consistency over trends
I design brands that are intentional, usable, and built to last.

My Design Process
I start by understanding the brand’s purpose, audience, market position, and business goals. This includes stakeholder discussions, competitive review, and identifying what the brand needs to communicate clearly and consistently.
Based on insights from discovery, I define the brand’s positioning, personality, and visual direction. This step ensures that every design decision is intentional and aligned with long-term brand growth.
I design the core brand elements—logo system, color palette, typography, and supporting visuals—focusing on clarity, scalability, and real-world application across digital and print touchpoints.
I translate the identity into a structured brand system, creating guidelines that ensure consistency. This includes usage rules, layouts, and examples that teams can easily apply as the brand grows.
Finally, I apply the identity to key brand assets and deliver production-ready files. I ensure the brand is usable, adaptable, and positioned to perform effectively in real-world contexts.
Brands I've Worked With
Outside of Design
When I’m not designing, I enjoy watching movies, exploring the internet, and learning new things. I enjoy challenges and problem-solving, and I’m naturally drawn to minimal design—where every element has a reason to exist.

The process had its ups and downs, but the final result was creative, impactful, and something I couldn’t have imagined on my own. Working with you was both inspiring and rewarding. Choosing the final design was a challenge not because of any flaw, but because every option you presented was exceptional. I’d gladly recommend you to anyone you're truly the best at what you do.
